Butohnes in English

Buthones is a dance-theatre show for the whole family, particularly recommended for children three years and olderdirected by Luz Rodríguez Urquiza. With original music  by Hernán Crespo, who chooses the accordion as the leading instrument, and choreography  by Celeste Martínez, Butohnes has a feel of Eastern Europe in its sounds and movements. The scenic design, by Mariela Iuliano and Julián Villanueva, recreates an unique place, a space owned by children, where they can create their own world. The actors display a great deal of physical skill, without ever neglecting their characters or the story they’re telling.
This story doesn't have a traditional written text: it's told through the sounds and movements of the actors that, combined with the rythm of music, compose this particular universal language of love and ladders.
